What is your Reticular Activating System doing for you?
 

The Reticular Activating System is a very important part of your mindset and goal setting. It is responsible for filtering information and helping you focus on what is important to you. If you don't take the time to consciously train your RAS, it will default to its natural state, which may not be in line with your goals and aspirations. 

One of the best ways to use your Reticular Activating System is to set goals. When you have a goal in mind, your RAS will help you focus on what is necessary to achieve that goal. For example, if you want to purchase a property for investment purposes, your RAS will help you focus on finding the right property, negotiating the best price, and securing financing.

Another way to use your Reticular Activating System is to make successful decisions. When you are faced with a decision, your RAS will help you weigh the pros and cons and make the best decision for your situation. For example, if you are considering whether to renovate a property or sell it as-is, your RAS will help you consider the costs and benefits of each option and make the best decision for your circumstances.

If you take the time to train your Reticular Activating System, it can be a powerful tool that will help you achieve success in your real estate investments!

Your RAS is your Reticular Activating System
And in other words, if you don't know what that is, Think about it this way
When you buy a new car, a new minivan, pickup truck, whatever you got,
isn't it funny how you notice that every
you notice every single other one like it on the highway
or on the road.
It's crazy, right?
Because you buy a blue minivan
or a black convertible or whatever you buy.
As soon as you bought it, you see that thing
like you see them every like you're like,
How come there are so many Mustangs?
Because all of a sudden you notice the Mustangs
or you got the Corolla or whatever it is.
Same thing with clothes, watches, certain things
As soon as you get that or one of your peers gets it,
you notice it everywhere.
That's your RAS
your Reticular Activating System
It's your subconscious to your conscious.
It programs you what to look for
Another example.
Tony Robbins does this at his conferences.
He asks you to look around the room,
memorize everything and then asks you
Okay, what did you see that was maroon?
And everyone was like…
Whatever they don't notice.
Okay. Now, look around
And now you see everything that's maroon
because all of a sudden
you're now programmed yourself to see that color.
So that's your RAS.
And the reason why I bring that up
is because a big part of MINDSET,
a big part of GOAL SETTING
a big part of being able to go out
and do certain things is programming yourself to see
those things before you've seen,
before you've actually done them
So it's part of the whole manifestation
being able to see things through.
And guys, if you think what I'm saying
is kind of frou-frou because initially I was like,
Come on get the hell outta here. I Google it.
There have been studies, University of Minnesota,
various different intellectual studies.
They've done this.
They've actually scientifically proven that this is a real thing.
The only thing your RAS doesn't control is your smell.
So everything aside from smell
is RAS-driven from your subconscious to your conscious
It’s tremendous.
So research it because I'm very like,
ah, that sounds like BS type of a guy.
When I first heard of this. I researched it
Blew me away.
I highly recommend you to the same
Everything I share with you guys.
When it comes to envisioning the future things like this.
If you taught it, if you tie it back to that core concept
Your brain.
Like I said, doesn't know the difference between reality today and reality in the future and again,
it ties back to your limiting beliefs
that ties back to your thought process,
your, you know, empowering or disempowering beliefs.
All of this can be rooted through your RAS,
Really important.
I need to share that with you guys because again,
everything I'm sharing with you guys is HOW TO
you know, move things forward, but ultimately,
if you're sitting there and you're like,
Yeah, but, you know,
I don't know.
Again, I can't send the communications.
I can't make the calls for you.
These are your relationships.
These are your transactions.
You need to be able to move it forward from your perspective.
